with what does a 1275 engine no start/is it just numbers/how many digits are there???

All 1275s will start 12A or 12H.

From your picture in your other post, i can see the engine tag has been removed, and the stamped number is a new number from the engine builder / reconditioner. You have no way of telling what you have unless you are to take it all apart. It could still be a 1275 or up to a 1380 / 1410.

All 1275s will start 12A or 12H.


It depends on the spec.

A 1275 could start with any of 8G or 9F or 12G or 38G or BHM or GSE or RKM - these are all factory engine codes
