Bought this mini off E-bay, bought it with my heart not
my head :'( , needs a bit more work than i anticipated,
had to decide whether to scrap , re-shell or repair.
Decided to go for a repair.

It had better be worth it, i'm supposed to be
using it to go to work at the moment!! The missus wasn't to
pleased when i noticed the brown devil eating it away (IMG:http://www.theminiforum.co.uk/forums/style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

Having to use my Mitsubishi pajero for work ( 20mpg) :'( sooner
the mini is back on the road the better !!

Even though when i've finished with it it may not be any better on fuel than
the pajero (IMG:http://www.theminiforum.co.uk/forums/style_emoticons/default/grinwink.gif)

Don't ask you''ll fall over laughing ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grinwink.gif)
Though it's still cheaper to repair than
buying another one.

door pockets removed

(IMG:http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z237/czjames/a11.jpg)

(IMG:http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z237/czjames/a13.jpg)

rear seat base cut back while removing the subframe mounting cross member.

(IMG:http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z237/czjames/a15.jpg)

(IMG:http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z237/czjames/a16.jpg)

(IMG:http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z237/czjames/a23.jpg)

With shell at this stage I could have made a rear engine
rwd mini, but don't have that kind of dosh!!
