A big one, IMO nothing less than a 50 ltr tank, but the bigger the better...
I've only ever sprayed one mini and that was with a 50 ltr compressor, and it was only good for a panel at a time, roof you could only do half then half.
but, I don't do paint, 'cause I'm cr*p at it...

A lot also depends on the spray gun you use.
I've got this gun
http://www.machinema...ent-air-brushes
1 Litre quick release syphon cup
1.2mm external mix nozzle
Average air consumption 6.0 cfm
Ideally suited for use with air compressors rated 1.5hp or above
And this one
http://www.machinema...ent-air-brushes
1 Litre quick release syphon cup
1.4mm external mix nozzle.
Average air consumption 7cfm
Ideally suited for use with air compressors rated 2hp or above
Actually tells you what minimum spec of compressor you want is.. luckily my compressor is 3hp and 150 litres

I would say minimum 2hp is what you want, and if you can 100 litre tank. Don't forget you will also need an inline water trap

i spoke to a manufacturer the other day and they have said a 110l tank 3hp minimum but that sounds very excessive and costs excessive

has anyone tried these HVLP turbine systems as it works out cheaper than a 110litre tank compressor and all parts and it gives 80% coverage instead of 40% so more economical on the paint.
Thanks
