Hi guys, this is my first post so go easy on me yeah.?

I recently got stopped by the lovly boys in blue. Who quiet politly informed me that i require new tyres.

I wrote down the size 17550r 13 72v

my question is this. Can i change the size of the tyre to 12 inches or less without changing the actual wheels?

i.e can i keep the alloys that i have and just put smaller tyres on?

if not can anybody reccomend a cheap place where ic an buy these tyres becasue the cheapest iv found is 43 quid a tyre!

No basically, tyre size always has to match the wheel size, diametrically anyway.
