Just sitting waiting for UPS and my delivery from MiniSpares while watching Salvage Squad on Discovery Turbo and got to thinking.........

...what ever happend to it and why did they never do another series? I know in the later episodes with Suggs presenting the team seemed to be falling out with each other but surely the concept of the program could have continued...... Discuss

i was watching it yesterday myself and i also love the program ! wished they did another series
also i think one of the main reason was because of that jerry fella on it . he is incredibly smart and a hell of a good engineer but he is a stubbern bugger isnt he . i think one of the main reason the team could of fallen out is down to not agreeing ? when you get that amount of talent when it comes to engineering and mechanics also restoration people will always have there ideas of how they want it done and want it to end up looking like . so views and opinions might of classed i think . thats my view anyway wherever its right or not is a different story haha

I was watching it Yesterday too, when they did the Mill, and that steam powered car.

Would be nice if it came back actually as I've watched all of them I think

I started to watch this recently also and think its great but a shame they haven't made any more.

I saw the one the other day where they renovated a dust cart, the fella who owned it was really weird though but the resto was really good as the whole thing was bespoke.

I was walking through Earls Court a couple of years a ago and saw someone I thought I recognised. I'm pretty sure it was Axel but unfortunately it looks like his TV career is over as he was in a drivers uniform and was getting into a coach.

There was all sorts of issues about the car not being what it was supposed to be. I'm not sure of the exact details but it turned out to be a bitsa with a different shell and parts from various works Minis, so despite the restoration being finished it has not been shown on the BBC.
