Hi all
my 81 clubman has a 1275 speedo fitted ,looks like the rev counter never got wired in.
there is a white & balck wire & orange & green wire coming ot the back of it.
has anyone wired one of these in before ? got a feeling its earth and + off the coil but would like to confirm ?

If there are only two wires, the white/black goes to coil (-) (the side of the coil connected to the points in the distributor) and the other wire would be switched power. The case would have to provide the earth connection.
