Got engine steady bracket done, just waiting on top one from mini-gti to complete that part of the engine build. Should be ordering the four pots during the week.

Not much happened lately apart from getting my carbon fibre switch panel, lot of ummming un rrrrring going on and i've finally decided, i want to change original ideas vastly. Thinking of 70's and 60's styling apart from wheels and odd carbon fibre bits here and there plus Autodelta exhaust. Speedwell bucket seats, central clock dash, 70's paintwork maybe pale yellow, no wheel arches, still mk1 bits un peices and circular air vents in front of bonnet.

Couple more bits bought only small but its a step further to being finished.

Bulkhead to engine earth cables, think i only need one though :w00t: do i?

Posted Image

Front subframe brake fluid pipe, broke mine being to impatient trying to get flexi hoses off in one peice ;D

choke cable, worn like most usually are. All were bought for cheaper than you can get them from minispares etc. so im happy with that.

Don't worry should be some more interesting stuff happening soon, respray should be happening hopefully sometime after christmas, as are the wheels being ordered aswell as the brakes. Then it might be on the floor for the first time in 2 years.

Bit of an update, managed to swap my original dashboard for a whole 1275 block, gearbox and ancillaries etc. so i've kept the 12g940 head for myself as it has been skimmed and ported and one of my friends has decided he'd like to buy the other bits so we can make up a blueprinted 1275 engine for his project. Pic of 12g940 below its been cleaned up abit since then.
