Hi,
Apologies for hijacking your forum but it was the only place I could get expert advice!
I feel slightly ok about it as my mum always had minis from a really old one with the string pull doors to a slightly newer one who's wheel fell off, then a mini 25, 30 & finally a cooper (old shape but not 60's I think it was in the 90's??).
I have an old trailer that has 10" mini wheels, I have an opportunity to buy a set of 12" wheels with tyres that would be cheaper than getting just tyres for the old wheels.
Will the 12" wheels hit the 10" hubs? The hubs are about 10 years old.
Thanks in advance

Hes saying he has a trailer with mini hubs and 10" wheels and wants to get some 12" because he has been offered/found a set that would be cheaper than replacing the tyres on the 10's.
To ansewer your question, Yes.

Hi Callum,
Yes you are correct, I have a trailer with 10" mini hubs. Best price for some budget 10" tyres = £30ish each.
I have been offered 4 x 12" mini wheels & tyres for £30. If you say they will fit, that is great as I will save £30.
Thanks
Simon

by the way Callum, I love the IOW - we come over at least once a year. A great Island, you are a lucky man living there!

They will fit the hubs - but is there clearance for the slightly larger tyres ?

12" wheels have more offset on them so you may need to use spacers and longer studs. Minis with 12" wheels have a built-in spacer on the rear drum.
