Model: Mayfair
Year: 1989

I was just wondering what you lot think the best lowered adjustable rear shocks is as my car, is nice and low but the standard shocks are far to soft and it rubs on every bump and having people in the back is a no no as i found out yesterday lol

So im on the look out for some good quality lowered adjustable shocks, any reccomendations??

Thanks Luke. :)

The car is obviously sitting far too low - raise it! New dampers won't help if the car is sitting on the bump stops !! Most folks fit and forget adjustable dampers - so may as well buy non-adjustable - Gmax are excellent and sensibly priced.

I have Protech dampers for my project, cannot comment on how they perform as they are still in the box, but they look very well made and are billet rather than welded. I believe Zcars use the coilover versions on their cars so they must be OK

Original Koni adjustables on Monte my Cooper Sport which seem ok if a little harsh but these seem better since I removed the very heavy Sportpack wheels and fitted 12x6s instead.

Not sure, but its not the front thats rubbing, so its not to much of a issue
