It is far too hot outside.

Actually, just out of interest is anyone elses Mini having the fan come on quite quickly? I've had a problem with my Cooper thermostat but I put a new one in and its working but the fan is still coming on fairly quickly. Is it just the heat or have I missed something? lol

Not a window is it, otherwise it would be called a "sunwindow, not a roof" :)

My gauge temp gauge rose higher than normal yesterday when in stationary / queuing traffic at rush hour (3/4 but still well away from red), but once on the open road with the wind in the sails (and the natural aircon of course) the gauge was back to normal. At least I trust what I read off it now!

.. was looking at the aircon minis for sale at the garage at Stokenchurch longingly ..

Where should the guage be, mine sits at half most of the time, but if I push it on the motorway, say 70 for half an hour or so, it rises up to 3/4 and I have got a 6 blade metal fan too!

My SPI stays at just under half way regardless of driving style, Can gun it at 70-80mph down the motorway and it won't move.

In the heat today it didn't change but the car didn't seem very happy, falling out of revs and stalling 2x and hesitating. Someone said possible fuel evap....

Sunroof open but makes near enough no difference. Black leather = faiiil in the heat
