Hi,in the middle of rewiring a mini,not sure of the year of the wiring loom,but checking workshop manual,the loom i have needs a dim/dip resistor for the headlamps,i do not have one of these,is there any way around it,or do i have to put my hand in my pocket (again) and buy one.

If you post in the technical section of the forum you may have better luck

As for you problem it would help if we had more info about your car such as year, model and whether you have the standard sealed units or halogens.
