i am looking into buying a shell and a welder and welding it up and rebuilding it from the parts i have.

i have never welded before and have done some research on welding ect but what people thinking go for it and weld it up but do a bit of practice first or leave it to someone with experience ?

just like the idea of a mini project what you all think ?

Once you've got a good weld going you'll wonder what all the fuss is about.

best thing to do is find some scrap metal first before you start welding the mini, in fact check out this site, teaches you the fundimentals of welding

thanks mat.p i am already a member top site.

i have a 106 im scrapping so im going to rip the wings off and the bonnet and practice welding on them see how it goes then i will let my self loose on the mini

im having thoughts flip front or steel. i have the steel front already so do i put that on or buy a flip? whats the pro's and cons of a flip front ?
