Hey guys, was thinking of fitting a stage 3 head to my spi, how much of a difference would it make in terms of power increase? would it be noticeable!

it's ok mate, one of the admins have moved it to the correct section. Just look out for big red banners at the top of some sections. Technical/projects etc. Will give you a better idea of where to post.

It's what I'm doing at the moment, but as with all engine tuning, you need to balance it with other parts to get the most from it. I'm going for the head, new rockers, LCB manifold and new exhaust, and becuase the engine is coming out because the box is knackered, I'm going for heat treated crank, new cam, etc etc.

Check out what comes in the Stage 3 kit from MiniSpeed, it will give you some idea. I'm hoping for around 85-90bhp from the original 60.
