well it was causing nothing but problems. £3000 in moding and repairs in 10MONTHS! i was obviously doing too many miles and it couldnt keep up. as im only 18 i just cant afford it so it had to go.

My mini has been costing me far too much recently in repairs so I also bought a modern car...

...


....and there is no way I could ever sell my Vern, he's being taken off the road to be completely restored.

I hope you find your mini passion again in the future and find another one that'll help you keep the faith

Once i can afford a lock up and have a bit of spare cash ill be getting another. I just had to sell mine to be able to buy another car. Hopefully next time ill be older and wiser and maybe if i can afford (turbo or vtec :D:D)

I work at Vauxhall and id put all my money on that corsa going down the swanny before a mini...

Make sure you do a service on it every year, not every 20,000 miles as the oil filters collapse. Check your chassis rails as well as these were a common place to storewater and rot internally.
And FYI id go to your local Vauxhall dealer and order 2 headlight support clips (50p each) and a timing chain (£12). Because these are the most common faults with that shape corsa and that particular engine. GM are soon going to be discontinung stock meaning you'll have to buy complete headlights (£47 each) for 2 poxy clips and a complete chain kit (£120) to fix the rattling chain.
