I'm sorting my rear end out first and I need to order a load of panels pretty soonish.

I've got the rear valence sorted from Paul on here, bit more lightweight than average

Of the other panels, which need to be genuine and which can I get away with being non genuine?

For example the rear closing valence panels are half the cost of the genuine, does it matter they are reproduction?

(to give an idea how much needs replacing, I pulled the rear valence off with my bare hands & I could drain pasta through my boot floor.. although only where the tyre sits it pin holed, which can be patched with some sheet steel)

The only panel that needs to be genuine on the rear end is the boot hinge panel..The black bit here  thats because you can only get a genuine panel for that bit.

True, but if you don't need the extra width (and I didn't on my Mini), I'd rather spend £10 than £100.

Yeah I wish I didn't need to  but seeing as I lifted away my rear valance with my hands, the whole bumper lip is gone & the bottom of the lights on the LH side has also rusted.

Thats a shame. Good luck with all the panels and keep us all updated with the progress. Will it be done by, and are you going on the L2B?

You can get a copy boot hinge panel, magnum panels do them, but they are split into 3 sections, 2 end corners and the main hinge panel in the middle.
