How on earth do you get the new ones in ?. doesnt seem to be enough room to get the end of the spring strut over the lip of the cone and the cone is so solid I cant seem to get it to give enough to get the spring strut over edge of the cone.
any advice gratefully received

Hi,
What I did with mine was, I set the knuckle joint, trumpet and spring altogether as an assembly into the suspension arm. Then I used a pry bar between the spring base and the seat in the frame. I had to work the pry bar to first get the spring into the frame and then to make it go over the centering dome on the frame. I installed coil springs but that should work with the cones too.
Hope that helps

I used adjustable trumpets (Hi-Lo's) and had no problem at all. This would allow you to set the ride hight of your Mini.
