Whats the socket size for the pre 84 drum brake cv nut?
As i need to buy one asap, thanks.
I had to buy one a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't find an imperial one that fitted properly. The one I ended up with, and which fitted perfectly, was 29mm.

can't see how a 29mm will fit perfectly as it's an imperial nut, but off the top of my head I think it's 1.1/8"

Which is 28.575mm - but I would say get the correct Imperial size socket - most decent socket sets will have that one anyway!
