What's Going On With This Head?

Hey everyone, just looking at this head on ebay:

The intake valves are longer than the exhaust valves, whats that all about?

There is a lot of work to get that head up to a serviceable condition :thumbsup: .......... look at the valve heads, can you see how "low" they are within the seat.... they need to open 0.060" before any gas / fuel / air / mixture can get in or out :P

The correct inlet valves are hard to find - they may have fitted exhaust valves from a 1275 head -which are longer, but same head diameter. Not impossible to rescue that head - but not worth paying a lot of money for it!
