hi guys and gals had to do something today that has upset me quite abit to be honest. my first (own) mini has officially been scrapped. after my accident i was going to turn it into a trailor but rear subframe was no good and i dont have the time or money to do what i wanted so i scrapped it with the dvla today. for anyone that doesnt remember

the good news is that ive given the shell to a friend of mine for the rear panels for his project, and my current project is nearlly back from the garage yay 2 months of miniless motoring has been more then hell

was well past project stage mate the whole floor was twisted it would be an very expensive project. its all good my mate is having some of the panels so its not going to waste.

slightly OT but i saved this picture on my wallpaper on my laptop ages ago, when it first happened,
and my gf came in and she saw it and thought it was her car that i crashed,
then the tears came,
until she saw she had different seats,lol

Had pretty much the same damage to mine.

I deaded him a few weeks ago.

That is sad news and such a nice looking Mini too (a rare Designer/Mary Quant LE).

But yes as said cars can be replaced, people can't.

Still a terrible shame though.

So sorry, that's very sad! When I had to scrap my first mini after 7 years of happy driving (it was built for me by a boyfriend) I cried buckets. You'll find another one!!

the wheels are currently on my new mini lol the other wheels im selling are the same but with no chrome lip

and the orange monster is due back in the next couple of days so im a little happier

the car is sadly missed by me and the missus and we are hoping that my new one brings me as many funny memorys as this one did.

and the fact that i nearlly died is still questionable lmao.
