i think im having a mad blonde moment .. changing my speedo to center binnacle .. but having problems with the ignition and oil presure lights .. am i going wrong or am i missing something .. w/b oil pressure light, straight to blub , the same as the ignition warning light .. but they both dont come on ...

anyone know where i am going wrong

i found out looks like you cant join the turn warning together ... or can you .....
any ideas

No you can't

The signals for the independent left and right tell-tales is taken after the indicator switch but for the single tell tale it's take from the flasher unit.

You could do a slight modification like I did

Use the left and right orange lights either side of the clock as the indicator tell tales.

The top green is now oil warning

rest stay the same

how did you wire your ignition and oil presure lights up ...just cant get mine working ...

For ignition you need an ignition fed 12v supply (white wires) to one wire on the bulb, the other wire you connect to the small terminal on the alternator.
This wire should already be in the dash loom that went to your old clocks. (brown/yellow)

Oil pressure warning is the same, ignition fed 12v supply (white wires), with the other terminal going to the sender on the engine via the loom (white/brown)

so i need twin lead bulb holders ... or bulbs with twin leads ...

yes, thats correct single lead holders won't work for ignition and oil light, although they are fine for the clock illumination

thanks mate .. just worked it out found a loom on the net and found the twin bulb holders ...

just could not get my head around it
