Are you on good terms with your local MOT centre? I would say mine at the front is around that amount out, and I've never had a problem, ff it is only 7.5mm, you might be ok!

If you're unlucky it'll fail. If you pray a little and keep everything crossed you'll be alright! It is officially illegal, but many MOT centres won't pick on it aslong as the rest of the car is safe.

Not a testable item don't worry about it for your MOT, do worry about being pulled for it though

im pretty sure they are allowed to stick out a quater of an inch. or it used to be in the olden days

there again, if your MOT tester likes beer then stick a 6 pack on the back seat

it'l be down to the tester i'd say, its not stickin out too much so shouldnt be too bad. i put my 6x12's on with the original arches and they wer stickin out bout inch and a half!!!

No really it's NOT a testable item, so won't fail even with 8 x 13s and no arches fitted, it's NOT covered by the MOT regulations, but is covered by construction and usage regulations.

Hope this helps

just a thought on this, if i was to have wheels that stuck out further than the arches but then say taped a match stick to the arch sticking out and considered it part of the arch would this make it legal or would being a smartarse get me in handcuffs?

edit: dont jump on me here, i know im being silly but it shold be viable in theory
