Hello again,
My next question to all you clever people is, on a 79 clubman 1275gt, do you need to cut the arches to fit 6x12 wheels. Lookin at the the superstar with 165/60/12 from Huddersfield Spares. Seems they don`t do them in a 5x12.
Any ideas please.
Cheers

you may need to, just at the front i think though, best to just put one on, let the car down and go lock to lock and see whats what.

Yes, you will need to trim them, how much is a guessing game.

Hi Samsernie
The problem is that i have not bought the wheels yet because i am not sure if they will fit. Catch 22 situation here. I thought someone may have already done the same thing, and i could get the info that way.
Messing with mini`s ain`t all straight forward like the mini crew told me it would be.
Cheers for the help though.

Yeah, you'll have to cut them. I've just bought some 5x12 superlights from Huddersfield spares and because of the offset they catch :(

Thanks Sazal
Looks like I will have to buy them first and have a go at nipping away.
Thanks for the help. :(

As above, with 12x6 you'll need to trim the font, it's easy though. I also had to trim mine with 12x5 superlights

I dont think anyone can tell you by how much, I have 6x12's and it is just trial and error until they clear, different cars have different ride heights so different amounts to trim.
