hi everybody

just decided to join the forum after my dad gave me a mini for xmas (what a legend)
its a 1981 mini city 998cc
it came fitted with an lcb manifold, twin su's and 12inch minilites.
i will post some pictures when i get round to taking some.
if any of you guys read the practical classics magazine you can see a picture of it in the staff car sagas pages in john simpsons section (hes my dad) in this months magazine
looking forward to getting to know you guys and gals

yeah its not too bad needs headlight surround rear valance and rear window bottom doing.
my dad was given it originally by one of his friends with a knackered rear subframe. he repaired it and got it an MOT then has been using it to go to stamford and back in. but after doing some autotests in it last year i think he decided it was better in my garage than his, plus he has a full driveway as it is (4 classic cars, 2 modern, and a van).
got lots of stuff i would like to do but got to wait till i have the funds
