Hey,

I might be going for some 10x6 ultralites from Huddersfield spares. Was wondering what the quality is of the alloys?

Are they okay for everyday use without looking like they've had paint stripper chucked on them after a few weeks?

ive had mine about 6 months now or more and not had any trouble with them even through all the snow and salt

Make sure to use some wheel sealent to keep them protected and keep it topped up, otherwise they will start corroding eventually (all polished alloys do, not just mini wheels)

when i bought mine it had ultralites and they were 18 months old, the lacquer was knackered on one of them and the other was going, but i think they were neglected, as long as you wash them reguarly they should last much longer than mine did.

My new wheels are from Huddersfield, they're nice now, but they've only been on a month! I had a look round before I got mine and lots of people seemed to reccomend them

I've got a set of 5x12 which came with the Mini - it had been stood for a bit and still looks quite nice - will have to give them a good going over before I fit them back on again.
