Hello, I'm Simon, left a few posts on tmf before but thought I really should introduce myself!
I've got a 1979 Mini Special which I have been lightly restoring with my dad over the last year. Its almost finished - got its new mot first time which I'm pretty proud of! All it needs now is its vinyl roof then it'll be complete and looking proper retro.

I used to have an Italian Job which I loved... and then it got stolen ... so my special is way better secured

Anyway tmf is without doubt the best Mini forum I've found!

Thanks a lot! I do like the rose Specials. Not that many left now I don't think.
I don't think you can ever forget mini's you've owned. They get ingrained lol.
