Right.. I hope it was nobody on here but whoever it was that said "measure twice cut once" has obviously never fitted a pair of f/glass rear doors before.

He tells lies....

I measured 3 times .. Marked the holes .. Lined them up on the car with the hinges .. Looking good so far .. Carefully drilled them then bolted them on.

So all is good......... NO! They're crooked :)

Time for a sit back and a bottle of Belgiums finest, then have another go.

Rant over.. Thanks for listening.

If it makes you fell any better, I cut a £170 pair of bicycle forks too short last week at work, making them unusable. To make it even worse, they were imported from the USA because they dont sell them in Europe. Can you fill and redrill the holes?

Mate fiberglass is always trouble.

I bought some Arc Angels Sportspack arches. Fit was horrible and a *woman of ill repute* just to get them on. Once on, I lowered the car onto the wheels only to realise they had been made too small and the front wheels wouldnt turn!!

Now I have holes in my panels for no reason. Went genuine and they fitted like a glove.

These were/are arc angel doors.. the fit and quality is good, though a few mm smaller than the originals..

I just wish the holes had already been put in... ho hum.. done now.

:)
