Starting My Mini Up  Group: Members Joined: 9-March 10  |
Hi,
My Dad's just got this mini as a bit of a fun project / weekend car for him and myself. Its suffering with a bit of tin worm on the doors, but all in its a wicked little car. It's a 1.3 'Italian Job' and plans are to get it running properly first as its running quite rough at the moment. Then over winter replace a few panels as they're badly dented/rusty. My dad wants to replace the wheels on it for something a bit wider, and then it needs a respray as some bits are different shades of green to others.
Why is insurance so ridiculous on these things? I'm 19 with 2 years NCB and all the insurance companies want 1k plus for me to be insured on it, but my dad got insured for £29. My 1.4 SEAT Ibiza is only £600 to insure! |
