so i have recently had a 1275 metro engine dropped in my mini keeping everything else from mini city 998cc,
the car would start but now it doesnt have headlights,
Then when i get headlights i cant start the car???
sorry i a bit of an amateur and my friend is fitting it and hit a bit of a brickwall,
any suggestions,
feel free to get technical he'll understand it ha

Earth strap on the engine... ??
The wiring should not have changed between the power units..

Knocked the connectors under the slam panel when connecting up the electrics?
