I'm currently overhauling my engine with lots of updated parts but I don't know much about the gearbox, what is recommended to be replaced? Or parts that can be updated?
Cheers sam |

Main double roller bearing should always be replaced, I replace the 1st motion single roller bearing aswell, and also the layshaft bearings and layshaft. Always change the baulk rings for new ones aswell. Most of the other parts are just an inspection and if nessasary replace.

All depends on the wear and tear on the gearbox... and what it previous owner(s) have treated it like and its service history...
