Hiya, i was just about to fit my new water pump when i realised i forgot to get a gasget. Would a paper one do the job?

They are generally made from paper anyway..... do you mean gasket paper or something else ??

i used instant gasket thing, comes in a tube, clean both surfaces and put it on, not had anyproblems with it.
not yet anyway haha
