Hiya guys,
Went for a burn in my mates mini today and after a while there was a squeeking sound from the front right wheel. Think its a bearing, but is there anything else that it could be?

Thanks

I would be suspecting wheel bearing, or possibly stuck brake pad with a constant squealing. Jack that wheel up and give it a shake while looking for movement. And also give it a spin to see if it feels / sounds smooth?

Ryan.

I would have said brakes but squeeking can be a lot of things...

One of the most dangerous is probably a loose wheel, if it only happens whilst turning then suspect a ball joint.... but this would only really be squeeking if you had tightened one of them recently.... in my opinion it is dangerous to tighten ball joints that have seen use (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

As above but look for loosness in any item of your suspension system (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
