hey guys, i took my exhuast off yesterday and resealed it.

my question is would a leaking exhaust on a mayfair 998cc 1984 cause a loss of power, increased fuel comsuption and a lack of back pressure meaning that it struggled at high speeds.

Yes, very probably depending on how big the leak is.
