my mini's wiring is all over the shop. it is going to a classic car refurbishes who specialises in minis (my dads mate for 18 years so hes quality) to do the wiring but i was just wondering how easy it was to just fit a head unit two 6by9s and a sub and amp?? now massivly important but i have some days off and wouldnt mind being able to pick up the stuff i need and just having a lil go myself?? any advice?? 1988 mini city e??

I can't imagine it would be to difficult, but maybe ask the same question in the I.C.E & Security section on here.

There's a guide to wiring a stereo up from scratch in the FAQ I think, check it out and see if the pictures are still there. And I'd recomend some components rather than 6x9's.

not a difficult job, i did mine in about 2 hours.
as long as your wiring and earths are ok its just a matter of connecting the right wires in the right places, and as evansisgreat says, theres a FAQ about this
