Yeah, i have a haynes manual, but according to that, the fuse does the horn, interior lights and auxilary units which operate whether the ignition is on or off, the only one of these which isn't working is the horn, hopefully someone with a later car will be able to tell me, thanks for your help anywayCheck the connections to the horn itself, the bump may have loosened off the connections.
On my earlier car the fuse for the horn is also the fuse for the headlight flasher, does it still work?
Your car will have the 24 fuse box but I don't know if the fuses are the same, do you have a Haynes manual?
Hopefully someone on here with a later car will point you in the right direction.

HORNS OPERATION
The horn receives a direct earth on a B wire.
Battery voltage is supplied from fuse B6 in the passenger compartment fuse box
on a P wire to the horn relay contacts and one side of the coil. When the horn
push switch is operated the other side of the relay coil receives an earth on a PB
wire via the rotary coupler. The alarm ECU will also supply an earth path to the
horn relay coil on a PB wire when the integrity of the alarm system is broken.
When the relay coil receives the earth it is energised, switching battery voltage
from B6 in the passenger compartment fuse box on a P wire via the closed
contacts of the relay to the horn on a PB wire. Since the other side of the horn is
connected to earth, the horn will sound.

hi,this may help my horn stopped working last week found it was the wire in the stalk,it had broke half way up.Thanks for that, ive checked the fuse and its not blown, the horn works when the alarm sounds, so i guess what im looking for is the connection between the actual horn button and the horn itself, this must be whats failing.
