Firstly I know how to fix the sizzled wire, but want to know what it does etc..
Pretty much I was having issues with my tail light, instrument cluster panel lighting, and passenger side light..
Part of loom shortly after sizzled itself, can't really work out how its all linked.. (it might not be..)
I know how it started and i know how to fix it, but will it fix the other stuff too?
Pictures, should explain more!
So i've got this wire the white one.. (Which i can't even find in my haynes manual, can find ones in the location but no pure white ones..)

Which then after a bit of sizzling bacon sound and some smoke looked like this..

I know it started by rubbing near to where the grill screws in then shorted to earth..
But why did no fuses blow? What does this wire do?
And it seems to have 3 seperate feeds (Can only identify one at the moment)? Is this factory work or DIY Jobby?

I'm assuming once its got to the three way split thing its split the current, and not burnt anymore..
Can anyone shed some light?
