I know that wheel widths and spacers required is a FAQ,but this is not quite the same so I hope its not too repetitive. I started to put Metro 4 piston calipers on in place of the 2 piston type but it got a bit complicated.The disc doesnt sit centrally to the caliper so the caliper woud need spacing inwards aout 7 mm, (all caused by the fact that the vented Metro disc is thicker).That gives problems with the thin metal shroud which would need modifying. I then tried the Metro flange and hey presto the disc is bang on central to the caliper BUT the 7 mm has to come from somewhere and the wheel then becomes 7mm further out so increasing the front track by 14mm. I dont mind that but should I add the same to the rears. I would like to fit Minilites at some stage and wonder what width my 145/12s are. Would 5" be wider and will the 7mm gained be helpful to stop them hitting anywhere,sorry one last Q, need wider than my std plastic arches on 92 Mayfair?

most metro discs are very thick where they mount to the drive flange,

I was able to turn about 15mm from mine to move the disc out to meet the caliper, and still have about 10mm of thread to hold the flange on, this enabled me to use normal mini flanges that dont move the wheel out.
