Im changing the brakes on my mini from the 7.5" set-up to vented 7.9" discs and 4 piston calipers.
I have a set of unused EBC pads that were bought for the 7.5" discs but can they be used with my planned new set-up or will it require different pads?

You'll need new pads.
I've got MiniSport 4 pots with cross drilled discs AND normal cooperS calipers and solid discs. I have swap between the two because the Classic Rally people won't let me run the 4 pots, and I don't like the brake fade on Coopper S brakes when on the race track.
So if you need a new home for the unused pads, maybe I can help
