Hi Peeps,

If anyone is going down to Brands the night before can they recommend anywhere near by to stay? A travel lodge or something similar. I don't fancy the drive all the way from derby on the morning!

the last twice i have been on the trip i stayed at the hotel at brands (thistle) nice place to stay

Thurruck (sp) travel lodge a few of us staid at last year
Will be doing the same again this year.

There are a few hotels in the area such as Campanile, Ibis, F1, Premier etc.

The Thistle Hotel at Brands, although very nice its quite a bit more expensive than the others.

When you cross the bridge to come over into Kent have £1.50 ready as this is a toll crossing.

I only had my card and euros. they dont accept card's.

Had to jump out of the car, run a few cars back and grab some change off a mate haha.
