Description of problem (please be as in depth as possible):
Driving home tonight, all of a sudden my left foot goes "Ow!" as it got hot water dumped on it.

There didn't seem to be a vast amount of water so I reasoned that if the temp gauge stayed static I could slowly limp the remaining 7 miles home.

Any ideas as to what it is, where I should look, what I should look for? I'm guessing it shouldn't be used any further! I'd be delighted if anyone can offer me some useful advice on this, thanks. Dave.

probably your heater matrix have a quick look should be obvious.

can you see any splits in the heater hoses, are they tight onto the heater?
