Car is a 1992/3 (K) carb.
It has a problem with the battery going flat overnight, i have traced it to the yellow starter relay in the eninge bay by the servo.
This relay is clicking when you connect the battery up with the keys not in the ignition, i presume this should not be doing this!
I have swapped the relay for a known good one but the same thing happens. I think there is a problem further back, ie the trigger wire is constantly on so the relay is constantly on.
What i need to know is which colour wire is the trigger for the relay? I has 2 thick wires one green and one black, and two thin wires light green with a brown tracer and light green with a red tracer.
The lights all work with the key removed so this confirms the igniton is live without the key in!
Starter Relay Feed Wire Colour?

That's the indicator relay. The problem may well be in the hazard switch.
The starter relay is the other one with brown/red and white/red wires.

OK, i will try another hazzard light switch, but why would all the lights work with the ignition off, including the brake lights?

Ah, sounds like the fuse box then. Try giving it a clean underneath but you'll probably have to replace it.

I think i have sorted it, the wire that feeds the indicators from the fuse box was attached to the wrong fuse, so there was power to the relay even when the ignition was off.
I have moved a couple of wires around and am gonna see what happens over the weekend. Cheers for the help dan!
