Is anyone on here going to Belgium this weekend. I've been told by the organisers (Belgian Minis on Tour) that there are 3 more cars a part than us going from the UK and just wanted to find out if any of them are on the forum... We are off to Belgium tomorrow via Dunkerque and back on Sunday after the event, it should be a good one!!!

It was a great day out (we made a weekend of it). A brilliantly organised day and a very friendldy atmoshphere in Belgium and Holland
. Tricky navigation, nice country roads and a very funny musical quiz along the route.I'll upload some of our pics later.
It was nice meeting the local Mini fans, a very recommended event the other side of the channel. We'll be back next year.

Some of you knew that this weekend we were going to Sint Laureins, right in the border between Belgium and Holland, for the Belgian Minis on Tour event.
The fun navigational event took place on Sunday. We were welcome with a nice breakfast before starting the route. We entered the Touristic Class with other 25 Minis which consisted on an easier roadbook than the Sport Class, entered by other 27.
The roadbook was quite tricky as it didn“t have the distances between instructions and, at the same time you had to be looking for the clues of the musical based quiz
A midday stop and then more very nice and flat country/farm roads and many cobble roads(??)to test the Minis. It was real fun seeing Minis coming from all directions at some points, all lost obviously, lol!!
We finish on a decent 19th out of 25 place, our navigation was almost perfect, but it seems that we missed many of the clues that were positioned along the route.
End of the day and a nice warm meal included in the prize followed by the trophies award, there was something for everyone we got a nice personalised memento, and a local pear, potato and onion:)
We were not the only (call it) British Team, as there were 3 more from Norfolk, Croydon and Eastbourne.
It was a fantastic event, very recommended for the future. Big thanks to all those who took part for the very friendly atmosphere, and specially to Anja and Weske for the fantastic organisation.
For all of you some of the pictures we took during te whole weekend. Luvly Chelsea was in 4 different countries in 3 days without giving any trouble.
