just thinking of the little things that shouldve been done a little different on minis i think...
for example... why did they put the hoses for the heater matrix on the drivers side???? it just means i catch the hose with my foot eventually breaking the end off the matrix:/

Because issigonis was a free thinking maverick inventor and bodger, but his detail design team were from Northfield or Frankley, or worse Rednal, and in the union, and didn't give a damm ?

A heater was an optional extra in 1959. Can't say I've ever had that problem though.

My heater pipes come out of the left side on mine. Wouldn't be too hard to flip the matrix over and do the same on yours.
But I do agree with alot of little things on minis that get on my nerves. Just little things that create problems and make 10 minute jobs - 2 hour jobs!

the nut and bolts for an extra engine steady on radiator side, where hose comes out of, cant undo from just outside need two people...on my last 2 minis anyway haha
