Any body know what pressure I should set the filterkings pressure regulater to, it's currently at 4 psi (i've got a range of 1- 7psi to play with).
Out of interest what happens if the pressure is too high?

If its too high your float in the carb will overflow out of the overflow pipe on the side of the carb.
I think it needs to be set between 3-3.5psi. I just read it in another thread that thats what an SU carb is designed for.

Thanks Mike. I saw that thread, but wasn't sure if it applied to all SU's. So 4 psi should on the money with tuned engine, I would think.

are you sure a hif44 carb can go with 3-4 psi?
This facet is ok for hif44+1380 engine?
Thanks
