Hi,

Would anyone know what the ohms resistance readings are on the fuel sender unit? I have tried in the Haynes manual but nothing.

I am fitting one of these ETB digidash units and it has the faciltiy to read the fuel tank level. I would think it would be something like 50 ohms full 230 ohms empty???

I guessing really have no clue!

Thanks

Full = 10 Ohms
Empty = 270 Ohms.

The actual range will vary from sending unit to sending unit. A more reasonable expectation would be a range from 240 Ohms = empty to 33 Ohms = full... which is an industry standard.

The only way to tell for sure is to run your tank to what you want to read as empty, I leave 2 litres at this point, so I know I will always have enough, and shove a meter on it to check resistance, then fill her to the top and check again!
