K this may sound like a strange one. I bought me little baby with the flip front on. Now I've been think for a while now that it sit's ever so slightly high. I'm gonna be getting shot of the body kit and have had a butchers at it and the hinges and (bare with me cause I don't know what the are called) the bars coming from the wheel housing to the sub frame are showing. Looking in the mags at others without any bumpers I canny see these parts. Plus I now have 2 brackets showing which i can cover over with fiberglass but could do with a better soultion.

How do you lovely people secure your flip fronts and can you tell from my pic if it's too high.

Cheers me dears....

P.S I'm trying to get the pic up. Not sure if it'll work and god look at the time. I have nothing better to do :D

Picture is not at the right angle, but yes it does look like its about an inch to inch half to high at the front.

Make that about two inches to high

i have fitted a carbon flip front to my own mini and used the same curved hinges as you have on yours.

the difference is that my hinges are on the INSIDE of the body . yours seem to be on the outside which might make the front higher . if you look at mine from the front you cant see the tie bar nuts as you can on yours.

and i think that mini sprocket is right about the 2" too high.

i have done a removable front on one of mine and yeah thats too high. how ever you could put a sump guard on and rally it up and it would look good that high i think.

Ok here we go. Sorry for the dodgy pics before but it was all a bit rushed before work.

Following the line of the window frames it looks high. Not sure how many different hinges there are out there to changes this.

P.S Nice weather >:D

yep, it does seem too high especially in those photos! as said above try mounting your hinges on the inside, and get some one so look at the side profile of the car when you do it, to get the lines right.
