i have bought a T2 from a renault R5, is that the turbo i need for turbocharging my 1275 metro engine?? Does anybody know where i can buy online such a rebuild kit for my T2? i live in belgium. Thanks for all replies

hi if you look on ebay they do rebuild kits and bearings. you will also need a really good pair of circlip removers .it may also be worth putting 360 thrust bearings in it if you plan to run alrge boost as this is what ive done on my t28 on my 5. i had mine rebuild by theses guys very quick and helpfull. www.turbodevelopments.co.uk.

also is it in need for a rebuild they are suprisingly good is there play in the shaft uin and out and up and down? hope that helps

i cleaned and rebuild the turbo without a kit and a lot of WD40 and now its spinning nice, i let it spin with a vacuim cleaner,i put the hose in the hole of the airinlet of the turbo and suck out the air and it start to spin , it makes a nice sound like a whistle... Theres no play in the shaft or minimal. when i give it a turn with my finger, how long does the blades have to turn, does it have to be realy smoot? thanks
