I don't know if anyone's heard of this before, its called 'urban exploration', and its where people go exploring in abandoned or derelict buildings, like power stations, hospitals, all sorts really.

Anyway, quite a few people have been to Longbridge, and there's some pretty awesome pictures on the website, which is here. I really would recommend having a browse through some of the posts as there's some amazing stuff on there.

Anyway, have a look at the Longbridge thread here, and on page 2 you'll find several pictures of a rather poorly Clubby, with only 11 miles on the clock!! It looks as if its had something huge dropped onto it, and then its been put down there for whatever reason, maybe to hide the fact there'd been an accident, who knows? Its the same colour as mine used to be too!

Here's a glimpse, but check out the whole website, its amazing!

I heard on the radio at work the other day, that the company that took over Rover were going to be using the factories again.

And that poor clubbly looks alone there in the dark!

Think from the look of it the japanese are starting to do little bits and pieces around the factory and security is a lot tighter now than it used to be, i would love to have a look around. Saw some of the photos ages ago and its just amazing.

You'd get in a fair bit of trouble if you got caught.

Currently they have a rover 75 (red with luminescant yellow security stripes on) and a landrover at Gate K.

The 75 is virtually always there,... the landrover looks as if it scours the perimiter or something i dunno. it's not always there.

I reguarly go past the rover works, It's only from seeing the cleared land that you realise just how big a factory it was.
