hi just pick up a engine today need to no what size it is engine number BHM1452F 153659 cheers craig

that strange, usually they start with 85 (850) 99 (998) 12 (1275) etc, have you tried googling it?

That isn't an A-Series engine number, whereabouts on the engine itself did you find that?

It's a factory recon (silver/gold seal) engine number....

Yep Guessworks is spot on cant find that exact number but a similar one

BHM1458 - Low compression piston, CAM6267 camshaft, late A+ cylinder head and crankshaft main bearings with centre locator tab, A+ block

BHM1460 - High compression press-fit wrist pin, CAM4717 camshaft, late A+ cylinder head and crankshaft main bearinfs with centre locator tab, A+ block


Not much help but i would guess it almost certainly an A+ 998
