As far as i can find out, they were made under licence for rover by the same firm that made the ERA centre capped ones, there was a limited run of ERA badged ones then they were made with the =mini= logo, does anyone know more?
Reserve is set at £100
*DJH*
don't hold me to this, but i think they were the lamm cabriolet ones? ermm.gif

The ERA wheel is marked 'Trackstar 6.0x13'.
I don't know yet of Rovers version.

So it looks like there were at least two version of this wheel around!
Do your wheels have some lettering, Mr-Skimmed?
Would be interesting to know...

! the wheels have never seen ERA, it the same as me calling a mini city a Cooper S.
ERAturbo

Thats my silver ERA in the thread

I have had a set of the (Rover) copies, so can make direct comparisons. The valve is set between the spokes on original wheels ( i have a feeling that the picture of red car posted by asphalt is an original wheel with a different centre), the copies have the valve between the spokes.

The ERA caps WILL NOT fit in the copies ... not without some serious mods.

As far as I have seen there are two slightly different original wheels...but only to do with the depth of the recess on the cap seat, as there are two different thickness centres. But how could this happen? I have a feeling it could be to do with someone making nigh on exact copies. You could have a set of ERA wheels with the valve in the spoke and the correct caps but still have copies. You can even copy the Trackstar lettering on rim if you had the inclination.

Anyhoo back on topic ....Mr Skimmed was selling what he thought were ERA wheels...and reading above it is VERY EASY to be confused into thinking you have some.... he changed the description, so job done. - good luck with the sale

Wheels are inanimate objects you retard, of course they haven't seen an ERA, they haven't got eyes!

The wheel on the red car is a picture from the MPI's accesory brochure!

THE ONLY RETARD IS YOU! you put the wheels up as ERA becouse you can not spell Rover i bet and wanted to con people. I am looking for ERA or Rover alloy wheels and would be able and willing to pay good money for them, I was going to buy yours even if the price was 250 pounds or more, becouse you have a problem you can sod off.
I pointed the diffrence out to you, but you are to stupid to understand and can only insult people.

Anyways........

Yeah well I would have them, but I know they'd just get smashed up, kerbed, cracked and all sorts so I'd rather them go to someone who is looking for some ERA/ROVER whatever they are (don't want to be wrong lol.gif) wheels on their road car.

Good luck with the sale anyways!!
