No. gas adjustables.

They will fit.... but you will have no suspension!!! Rear subframe incorporates suspension cones and trumpets which get removed when you change to a rear beam... so you need the coil overs to provide the spring

Will the engine be going too?

there are several topics... the car was called "rusty lee" and "stealth" but all the pics have gone so there isn't much to see... i can post pics here if you like.

As for the engine...... it has a blown piston ring and will need a strip down... which i can't afford to do and have no time or space to do myself. the head is good (stage 4) and gearbox has been sound since day 1

As far as i know, its a kent 296 cam, oil cooler, Sccr gearbox, orange clutch, lightened fly wheel/crank etc etc but i have never stripped it myself so i wouldn't want to sell it until i am sure of the spec... i was going to put it in the shed until i have the money to have it stripped and checked before either having it rebuilt or selling off individual parts... but the strip down is going to cost £150 so it's catch 22.

Looking at your Dash, it states that Cash on Collection as will be beast to package and post, yet you have £13 as postage cost ???

yes, but if you recieve it in kit form i'm not refunding!!!! the post orrifice and royal fail are not popular in my house!!!! neither are parcel farce.

I'm not usually one to end items early, but i am in a bit of a desperate situation and more than one person has offered a fair price, however, one in particular is able to pay cash and collect quickly so i have ended the coil overs and rear beam auctions.

well, the guy who wanted to buy the tanks for very good money has not got back to me, and i'm stuffed if i'm ending them early!!!!
I'm off to bed now, by the time i get back on here, all the auctions will have less than 12 hours to run and i will be unable to end them early... which is a relief in some ways and a shame in others as it's the final nail in the coffin of "Rusty Lee" aka "the stealth"

I have almost all the stuff i need to finish the convertible, and it should be pukka!!!

I had a bloke cancel all his bids and accuse me of bidding on my own stuff, a bloke who had been on ebay since march, had 5 feedback was bidding on my stuff at £3-5 increments and all the other guy can see is "bidder number 5, member-less than 1 year, feedback 0-10" and immediatley assumes i'm bidding on my own stuff, he did re-instate his bids in the end... didn't win though.

I did have someone (not from here) offering £250 to buy the petrol tanks... which i accepted, but refused to close the auction until he picked them up... they sold for £120 and he didn' even bid.... cretin!!!

And you would believe the grief i was getting from Chavs who wanted me to "sell me dat spoiler mate, it's wkd init!!!!!" and couldn't believe i ripped it off and kicked it in half to get it in the bin.

I'll be getting the engine out this week for storage, or £600 if anyone wants it as it is. if i strip it, i will rebuild it, paint it and ebay it for silly money.... i have just found a HIF44 in the shed too!!!! (vizarded!!!!)

i can't believe how you can write "cash on collection prefered" several times and "I need money for next week" and people pay by effing ECHEQUE!!!!! which will take 7 days to get to my paypal and another 7 to my bank. I still have a black interior, which will be on sale soon (emmalee covers with headrests) if anyone is interested.
